Herbicida sistémico no selectivo, pertenece al grupo de los inhibidores de la síntesis de los aminoácidos. Es muy efectivo en el control post-emergente de la mayoría de malezas gramíneas (anuales y perennes), hoja ancha y ciperáceas.
